The ETIP SNET Secretariat welcomes new members and has confirmed the mission of the leadership across its five Working Groups (WGs), combining renewed mandates with new appointments to ensure continued expertise, fresh perspectives, and alignment with the initiative’s strategic objectives.

In WG1, Nuno de Souza e Silva steps into the role of Chair after serving two terms as Co-Chair. Ilaria Losa joins as Co-Chair for her first term, alongside Albana Ilo, who has been renewed for a second mandate. The honorary leadership team includes Natalie Samovich and Antonio Iliceto, both of whom have been renewed for 2025, and newly appointed Sergio Gallego.

The WG2 chairmanship is currently being renewed, with one mandate extension and two nominations under review by the ETIP SNET Evaluation Committee.

In WG3, Rosaria Volpe begins her first term as Co-Chair, joining Peter Jansohn (Chair) and Olaf Bernstrauch (Co-Chair), both confirmed for a second mandate. Alexander Wiedermann continues as Honorary Co-Chair.

WG4 welcomes new Co-Chairs Dimitrios Doukas and Ricardo Bessa, joining Chair Nikos Hatziargyriou. Honorary Co-Chairs Elena Boskov Kovac, Maher Chebbo, and Miguel Sanchez have also been renewed for 2025.

In WG5, Eva Nanaki joins as Co-Chair, complementing Thales Papazoglou. Venizelos Efthymiou and Sergio Olivero serve as Honorary Co-Chairs. The Chair position remains vacant, and the Secretariat will soon launch a call for applications.

These transitions demonstrate ETIP SNET’s continued dedication to inclusive governance and expert collaboration, reinforcing its role in driving forward Europe’s energy transition.
