21st ETIP SNET Regional Workshop

10:00 - 13:00 (CET)

Location: Munich (EM-Power)

The second ETIP SNET Regional Workshop of 2025 themed "AI & GenAI in Smart Grids" and dedicated to Central Europe, will explore the integration of artificial intelligence and generative AI into smart grids. Experts will showcase advancements, best practices, and real-world applications to optimise grid management, enhance flexibility, and boost efficiency. A key focus will be ETIP SNET’s strategic recommendations for AI adoption in smart grids. Speakers will address technical, regulatory, and market challenges, outlining steps to accelerate deployment.

The workshop will bring together European Commission representatives, TSOs, DSOs, ICT providers, utilities, research and innovation organisations, national ministries and regulators, energy agencies, and funding bodies. This Regional Workshop particularly aims to engage professionals and stakeholders from Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia.

The event offers a unique opportunity to network with Central European energy stakeholders, exchange ideas, and explore R&I projects across Europe. Participants can discuss AI & GenAI challenges in smart grids, identify R&I gaps, and share best practices. Insights from these discussions will help shape future research agendas and policy frameworks at the European Commission level.

This will be an in-person-only event, with no option for online attendance. Due to limited capacity, be sure to reserve your spot in advance!

Save the date and register by April 30th, the agenda will follow soon.
