We are pleased to announce the appointment of Antonio Iliceto as the new co-chair of ETIP SNET during the Governing Board meeting held on Friday, June 14th.
Antonio Iliceto is currently the Expert of the Research Development and Innovation Committee for sector coupling of ENTSO-E.
As an Italian electrical engineer, Antonio has played a key role in shaping ENTSO-E's R&D and Innovation Committee for more than a decade, and his efforts have been instrumental in advancing ENTSO-E's vision of the carbon-neutral Europe roadmap published in 2022.
His involvement spans several key organisations in the TSO sector, including MedTSO, IEC ACTAD, ISGAN and Dii-Desert Energy, where he serves on advisory boards and committees. He is also a reviewer and member of the editorial board of AEIT-LEE, the Italian Electricity Journal.
He has been an active member of the ETIP SNET Governing Board and Executive Committee for the past six years, and he is currently Honorary Co-Chair of the ETIP SNET Working Group 1, which focuses on business and technology trends for an optimised energy system at an affordable cost.
Through his participation in these activities, Antonio has made significant contributions to planning drivers, global networks, and TSO-DSO relations, and has also authored technical papers on electric mobility, hydrogen, and flexibility.
His experience and strategic insights make him an invaluable addition to the ETIP SNET leadership team, ensuring continued progress and innovation in the sector.
