The ETIP SNET initiative fulfills its mission of guiding research, innovation, and development through five Working Groups (WGs), each led by a Chair and two Co-Chairs. For more details, please download the ToR here.
WG5 (Innovation Implementation in the Business Environment) aims to create a harmonised approach for analysing energy transition projects, ensuring consistency in assessing progress and lessons learned. It establishes a common platform to evaluate technological advancements across the EU and facilitate their scalability. It develops methodologies to assess system needs, providing insights to guide further research and innovation. Additionally, it reviews BRIDGE reports to identify barriers to business model deployment and explores innovative solutions to maximise the benefits of the innovation process in the area of Energy.
The role of a WG Chair includes:
- Representing the WG within the ETIP SNET governance;
- Representing the WG externally during external events;
- Coordinating the WG’s activities.
The role of WG Co-Chair includes:
- Provide back-up to the Chair representing the WG within the ETIP SNET governance;
- Representing the WG externally during external events, if deemed useful;
- Support coordinating the WG’s activities.
These activities will be closely supported by the ETIP SNET Secretariat.
