ETIP SNET, in collaboration with various regional partners held four successful workshops throughout 2017 in Aachen (Germany), Lisbon (Portugal), Nicosia (Cyprus), and Riga (Latvia). Together they gathered over 400 participants from all over Europe to share knowledge on local projects and identify research priorities.
The ETIP SNET Regional Workshops gathered attendees and project representatives all over Europe and provided a unique opportunity to learn from Europe’s national Research & Innovation (R&I) projects and the chance to contribute to the identification of R&I gaps, challenges and priorities at Regional and EU levels. It was also a great opportunity to network among peers in neighboring countries, learn about state of the art in system operation, renewables integration and digitisation solutions in the energy system.
