The coordination team behind ETIP SNET launches sister project BRIDGE to foster continuous knowledge sharing among Smart Grid and Energy Storage projects

The INTENSYS4EU (INTegrated ENergy SYStem) project is a coordination and support Action group supported by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme. As well as acting as general secretariat for all ETIP SNET activities, it also maintains  the gridinnovationonline.eu knowledge sharing platform and acts as coordinator for the BRIDGE initiative.

What is BRIDGE?

BRIDGE is a European Commission initiative which unites Horizon 2020 Smart Grid and Energy Storage Projects to create a structured view of cross-cutting issues which are encountered in the demonstration projects and may constitute an obstacle to innovation.

The BRIDGE process fosters continuous knowledge sharing amongst projects thus allowing them to deliver conclusions and recommendations about the future exploitation of the project results, with a single voice, through four different Working Groups (WGs) representing the main areas of interest:

– Data Management;

– Business Models;

– Regulations;

– Customer Engagement.

On the BRIDGE website, users will find the public outcomes (reports, outputs, communication features, etc.) of the 4 BRIDGE WGs and the initiative itself. In addition, BRIDGE participants can also have access to a restricted area where working documents are available to facilitate the networking aspects amongst them.

BRIDGE projects work hard to deploy smart grids and energy storage solutions faster and efficiently.

For more information about BRIDGE, you can contact the BRIDGE support team , follow this interesting European initiative on Twitter (@BRIDGE_H2020) and subscribe to its Newsletter

Finally, come and meet BRIDGE and ETIP SNET  at the EU Sustainable Energy Week and InnoGrid2020+ conferences and networking sessions next June 2017!
