Nikos Hatziargyriou, Chairman of the European Technology and Innovation Platform Smart Networks for Energy Transition(ETIP SNET), spoke to Bulgarian television channel Bloomberg TV Bulgaria about the ETIP Energy Stories and how they bring new energy technologies closer to European citizens.
Prof. Hatziargyriou stated:
Key players such as energy operators, institutions, agencies and regulators are included. [ETIP SNET’s] aim is to encourage and support Europe’s energy transition and define goals and roadmaps.
He added that it is important that we, as citizens, have a sound understanding of such new technologies, as this will allows us as energy consumers to know how to save energy and contribute to a greener and cleaner environment.
