The ETIP SNET WG4 – Digitalization of the Energy System and Customer Participation, has released a report on how to address the use and impact of Information and Communication technologies as a pervasive tool along the entire value chain of the power generation, transportation and use, as well as the enabling of customer participation.
As reported previously, WG4 has addressed and described the digital development and its impact on the energy system in a 180 page technical document aimed at engineers and experts in the energy sector.
The technical report was previewed by vice chair Maher Chebbo at the the ETIP SNET northern region workshop in Helsinki and is now available for digital download in the publication section of the ETIP SNET website
A shorter, 20 page edition aimed at policymakers and energy stakeholders at large will be released at the start of November 2018.
