ETIP SNET was present at leading power system industry event CIGRE from 26 to 31 August, 2018 to promote its recently launched Vision 2050
The CIGRE Session is the international leading event for power system industry, gathering worldwide experts to discuss and learn about the future of the industry and to display the latest solutions for the whole value chain, from generation to distribution. Delegates are invited to attend events where they meet with eminent personalities of the industry.
ETIP SNET representatives Konstantin Statschus and Antonio illecito where present at the sessions of the Cigre of Study Commitee C1 (System Development and Economics) to present the platform and its recently launched Vision 2050 which aims for a low-carbon, secure, reliable, resilient, accessible, cost-efficient, and market-based pan-European integrated energy system supplying the whole economy and paving the way for a fully CO2-neutral and circular economy by the year 2050, while maintaining and extending global industrial leadership in energy systems during the energy transition.
