ETIP SNET supports a webinar series organised by ETN with the aim to shed light on the actions taken by the EU and the industry to meet challenges in flexible power generation and pave the way for a carbon-neutral energy system that would ensure at the same time secure and affordable energy supply.
The series will host one episode per month, each featuring a different research and innovation project on flexible power generation funded by the Horizon 2020 programme.
The first episode of the “Challenges and opportunities for flexible power generation in the future energy scenario” will be held on 29th September 2020, 12 pm – 1 pm (CET) .

Programme
During this first episode, you will have the chance to discuss with the European Commission and with representatives from the private sector the role that thermal power generation will be playing in the European Green Deal framework. During the event, the European Commission will reveal the EU strategy on thermal power generation, while representatives of the private sector will present their strategy to meet the 2030 and 2050 climate and energy goals ensuring a security of energy supply.
