The European Technology and Innovation Platform for Smart Networks for Energy Transition hosted the first in the series of National Webinars in collaboration with Technology Platform Smart Grids Austria on January 18, 2018.
The National Webinar Series is dedicated to the presentation of national and regional platforms and provides the opportunity for the exchange of best practices, recommendations and knowledge sharing among national stakeholders.
For the 1st edition in the series, ETIP SNET will focused on AUSTRIA where the Technology Platform Smart Grids Austria (TPSG Austria) presented its initiative on Interoperability of Data Exchanges in Smart Energy Systems . The Webinar will covered the following topics:
- The ETIP SNET’s scope and activities: Nikos Hatziargyriou, ETIP SNET Vice-Chair
- Presentation of TPSG Austria: Angela Berger, TPSG Managing Director
- Presentation of the “IES – Integrating the Energy System” Project: Valerie Reif (TPSG Austria), Matthias Frohner, Stefan Sauermann (UAS Technikum Wien)

The 2nd edition of the ETIP SNET National Webinar Series will be organized in cooperation with Think SmartGrids, the French Smart Grids professional Association, on March 22. Additional information will be soon available on the ETIP SNET website.
