ETIP SNET initiative performs its mission of guiding research, innovation and development through 6 Working Groups (WGs) each led by one Chair and two Co-Chairs. For further information, please download the ToR here.
The WG2 (Storage technologies and system flexibilities) is currently looking for a new Chair.
Working Group 2 focuses on technological and market developments in energy storage solutions to ensure flexibility in electricity transmission and distribution. It examines various storage options and their interaction with power networks, covering the entire value chain from technology development to system integration, and evaluates their impact on flexibility and cost-benefit.
The role of a WG Chair includes:
- Representing the WG within the ETIP SNET governance;
- Representing the WG externally during external events;
- Coordinating the WG’s activities.
These activities will be closely supported by the current WG Co-Chairs and the ETIP SNET Secretariat.
Interested stakeholders with relevant expertise are encouraged to apply by June 20th, 2024.
