European Technology & Innovation Platforms (ETIPs) have been established by the European Commission within the framework of the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan). These platforms serve as collaborative forums, bringing together a range of stakeholders and experts from the energy sector.

Of the 9 ETIPs, the ETIP Smart Networks for Energy Transition (SNET) plays a pivotal role in steering Research, Development & Innovation (R&I) efforts focused on smart grids. Its primary objective is to support Europe’s energy transition facilitating the shift towards a low-carbon and neutral energy future.
